Pictures of the Citroen cactus Concept leaked on the Internet before its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model looks like the French version of the Evoque model and it is a very beautiful crossover with plastic elements of the frame.
The other details are a very steep windshield and LED lights. Also, it has a very interesting solution for the roof line, huge aluminium wheels and unique bumpers. We must add the revolutionary “Air bumps” – these are large areas covered with a non-scratchy rubbery surface full of air capsules which protect the body and it took them three years to develop the technology needed to use this in the production car.
The cockpit is very comfortable and stripped off all unnecessary details. It has two reclined bench seats which are much more sociable than the usual car seats and the dashboard is completely empty. All those cluttered buttons with different functions and the central console are exchanged with a seven-inch screen, while another eight-inch screen is in charge of all air-conditioning and infotainment functions.
We still don’t have any details about the motive power of this concept but the infotaintment screen hints to electric or hybrid aggregate.
