Maybe you have seen the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, unveiled a few days ago, but we have the first video of the prototype accelerating that was released by Auto Bild, German Magazine.
The video is very short, but it presents the time required by the Lambo Aventador SV to reach from a standstill 100 km/h – just 2.8 seconds!
The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV under the hood has a 6.5 liter V12 engine that gets a modest power boost of 50 horsepower along with a weight reduction of 50 kg. The top speed of the Aventador is 350 km/h and it reaches from 0-100 km/h from 2.9 to 2.8 seconds. The torque stays at 507 lb ft at 5,500 RPM and top RPM rises to 8,500 RPM.
The weight reduction mentioned above is reached through the use of carbon fiber for components, including the rear wing, engine bay cover, interior door panels, wing panels, air intakes and bucket sports seats. The noise insulation and carpets have also been taken out, like has the multimedia system that can be put back in at no additional cost.
The Lamborghini Aventador SV gets forged center-locking lightweight alloy wheels – 21 inches at the rear and 20 inches at the front. The Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and carbon ceramic brakes come as a standard.
