There is a belief that Americans are not that cultivated. It originates from the age of communism. Today there are different social layers in America and we must admit that actions of some Americans are still a mystery not only for the foreigners but for the other classes of Americans as well.
There is a great gap between the New Yorkers and rednecks. You may see that as lack of principal understanding between the two. The so-called hipsters from Brooklyn and Manhattan or even hippies certainly don’t approve of scenes like this one: a burnout performing truck loaded with rednecks drinking beers, trashing beer cans around, riding on a vehicle placed on the truck and enjoying in the cloud of smoke… It’s party time!
