Wimmer Tunes KTM X-Bow GT Superb Performance
Superb Performance
KTM X-Bow GT was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year. The car is based on powerful X-Bow R. The GT version is running on turbo four engine of 2.0-liters together with intercooler, delivering 285 hp and 310 lb-ft torque. X-Bow GT is now equipped with a windshield, leaving helmet as optional. The most appealing are modifications related to car’s performance.
X-Bow GT was tuned by the German company Wimmer. They have succeeded to improve the car’s specifications drastically. Right now, the GT model runs on 435 hp and 369 lb-ft torque. It accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds. This was possible only thanks to the changes introduced by Wimmer: turbocharger was introduced, forged pistons were inbuilt, exhaust was modified and pumps were introduced. Wimmer has also made changes to the interior: they used leather extensively, developed better seats and introduced racing rims.
